Hi! I’m Ashley, and this is Sarah — together, we lead the Talent Acquisition team at Neo.
Our team is made up of four builders who are small in number but fierce in impact. At Neo, we’ve built a reputation for challenging the status quo in an industry dominated by much bigger players. We’re agile, adaptable, and relentless in pursuit of impact. Now, we’re looking for one more bold team member to join us — someone who shares this mindset and is ready to unlock top talent to help scale our organization alongside some of the strongest entrepreneurs and leaders out there.
A little insight beforehand:
We’re anything but traditional — so we’re trying something a little different.
This role will remain open until midnight on July 20th. Once the clock strikes twelve, the magic stops.
We want you to take your time with your application. We won’t review any submissions or connect with candidates until after the deadline. From there, we commit to reviewing every application and will reach out to shortlisted candidates shortly after.
What it's like to work here:
Joining Neo means stepping into a fast-moving, ever-evolving environment where resilience, creativity, and bold thinking are the norm. We don’t shy away from challenges — we run at them.
At Neo, we’re small but mighty. We punch above our weight because we hire people who care deeply, learn quickly, and execute relentlessly. We’re building something ambitious — and we’re doing it together.
If you’re someone who brings unique strengths, thrives in ambiguity, and wants to help shape the future of a high-growth company, we’d love to meet you. While it may be a "no" this time, Neo is growing fast — and we hope you’ll keep us on your radar for future opportunities.
The Role:
As a Talent Acquisition Partner on the People team, you will provide recruitment across various teams within Neo Financial. You will play an integral part of the team partnering with hiring leaders to understand their hiring needs and the end-to-end recruitment process. We need your expertise and passion to help us build a world-class candidate experience from start-to-finish. In this hands-on role, you’ll play a crucial part in achieving our ambitious hiring targets and talent growth plans.
What you’ll be doing
- You will collaborate with hiring managers to develop a full understanding of team need for the team(s) you are recruiting for
- You will work with your leaders to develop a full understanding of hiring volumes, ensuring your energy is focused in areas that will add most value
- You will own the candidate experience from first point of contact to start date, ensuring open lines of communication throughout the hiring process
- You will post jobs, screen applicants, schedule interviews and effectively manage multiple funnels
- You will support Senior Talent Acquisition Partners with ad hoc tasks such as scheduling interviews, candidate pick up, sourcing and sending offers or background checks.
Who we are looking for
- 3-5 years of recruitment experience in a fast paced environment. Previous experience at a start up and/or in High Volume recruitment is considered an asset.
- You have a proven ability to work in a high pressure environment while juggling multiple tasks at once.
- You’re a strong communicator, both verbal & written, with exceptional interpersonal skills
- You’re able to plan and prioritize work, remain highly organized, maintain confidentiality, and manage conflict professionally
- You’re eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment
- You are an advocate for Neo. You’re passionate about the mission and goals of our company, and you share these with candidates in a way that’s easy for them to understand
Interview Process:
Our interview process is built to dig deep, move fast, and get real.
We want to see what makes you, you — not just on paper, but in action. That means walking through real projects you’ve led, collaborating on a quick but thoughtful challenge, and having a few informal chats (Google Meets or in person) to make sure we click beyond the resume.
The full process includes four rounds, designed to give you a clear picture of the role, the team, and how we work — and give us a chance to see the builder behind the title.
- Your journey starts with a 30-minute intro call — a chance for you to learn more about Neo Financial, and for us to get to know you. You might even meet our incredible Chief People Officer, Amanda, right off the bat. We’re all hands on deck over here — moving quickly and collaboratively to find our next team member.
- We’ll send over a short exercise designed to see how you think and operate. You’ll be asked to map out a hiring approach for a specific role and with a few speed bumps, look to understand how you iterate and partner with our leaders to drive a world class recruitment process.
- Meet & Greet!
You’ll connect with more of the team — giving you a chance to get a feel for who we are, and giving us the opportunity to dive deeper into your approach, mindset, and capabilities.
We’ll also take time to align on the role and total rewards at Neo, so you have full clarity and confidence in what it’s like to work here — and what’s in it for you.
With every hire, we ask ourselves: Will this person raise the bar?
Here’s your chance to show us how you’ll do just that.
- Offer
At Neo, we’re scaling fast — and one of the most exciting parts of joining us is the opportunity to become an owner.
Equity isn’t just a checkbox here; it’s a meaningful part of how we reward impact. Ownership at Neo goes beyond shares — it’s about driving your function, shaping the business, and building for the long term.
At this stage, we’ll walk you through the full offer, including the mechanics of our equity program, so you know exactly what it means to grow with us — not just at us.
