Overview
Vitos Pizzeria are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Take Out Cashier to join our team. In this role, you will be the vital link between our restaurant and our guests, ensuring that all to-go orders are handled with precision and care. Your excellent customer service skills will help create a positive dining experience for our guests, even when they are enjoying their meals away from the restaurant. Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their to-go orders.
- Accurately take orders using hand written methods
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of orders.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the to-go station.
- Handle phone inquiries with professionalism, providing information about menu items and specials.
- Ensure that all food items are packaged securely and presented attractively for customers.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any concerns or questions promptly.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with guests.
- Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A friendly demeanor and a willingness to help others are essential for success in this role.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.(Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays )
