Swim/Aquatic Instructors – WD Swim Markham
About Us:
WD Swim is a growing swim school committed to providing high-quality aquatic instruction in a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment. We are currently seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Swim/Aquatic Instructors to join our team!
Position Overview:
As a Swim/Aquatic Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering fun, engaging, and effective swim lessons while ensuring a safe and positive experience for all participants. Exceptional customer service and a passion for aquatics are a must!
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead swim classes for up to 5 participants in a safe and engaging manner
- Provide instruction tailored to various skill levels and age groups
- Maintain a positive and encouraging environment for all students
- Ensure participant safety and respond to any emergency situations appropriately
- Communicate effectively with parents, students, and team members
Qualifications:
- Energetic, friendly, and passionate about swimming and fitness
- Prior experience in aquatic instruction is an asset, but training is provided for new instructors
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexible availability including weekday evenings and weekends
- Legally entitled to work in Canada (no sponsorship provided)
Work Schedule:
- Weekday evenings (Monday to Friday)
- Full day availability on weekends
- Flexible hours – pick up shifts based on your availability
Job Type:
- Part-time: <20 hours per week
- Full-time: >20 hours per week
