- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Qualification
- At least 2 years of previous experience as a cook, chef, or in a similar role.
- Eligible to work in Canada.
- Currently in Canada
- Knowledge in Japanese cuisine
- Able to work in fast pace environment
- Intermediate knife skill
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Passion for cooking and creativity in food preparation
Tasks
- Plan menus and estimate food requirements for their realization
- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
- Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
- Clean kitchen and work areas
- Manage kitchen operations
