This position focuses on risk mitigation, monitoring Casino operations and cash transactions to ensure the protection of Casino and guest property, assets, and information.
Observing and recording daily operations in all areas of the Casino and property. Keeping complete written and visual records. Maintaining up-to-date knowledge on all policies, procedures, game play, probabilities, and game protection, to mitigate risks and detect irregularities. Ensuring that communication flows smoothly between Surveillance and other departments. Conducting procedural audits on casino staff, and identifying and recording any instances of non-compliance of policy and procedure. Assisting with investigations. Handling other tasks as required, to protect the integrity of the Casino's operations and assets.
Successful completion of Grade 12 or GED diploma or a combination of relevant education, training and/or experience. Minimum one-year experience report writing, navigating surveillance/radio systems, and working with many diverse situations and personalities. Previous gaming or surveillance experience would be an asset.
