The job involves:
Monitoring gaming floors, table games, soft count rooms, cages, slots, bars, restaurants and back-of-house areas at both properties
Detecting and monitoring all suspicious activities that may adversely affect gaming, our patrons and associates
Identifying potential gaming floor conflicts and notifying security and external law enforcement agencies
Ensuring departments are following standard operating procedures and applicable policies
Recording accurate and detailed information on reports and conducting thorough investigations using the digital video system
Working safely, and in compliance with OH&S policies and legislation
Thorough knowledge of all activities and promotions occurring at our casino properties
Working independently and as one team that supports and helps one another
Flexibility to support a 24/7 operation
The ideal candidate has:
College diploma or University degree with a concentration in Criminology or Law
Minimum 2 years experience working in a casino environment
Exceptional analytical, critical thinking and decision making skills, strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines while working in a fast-paced highly regulated environment
Proficient computer skills with strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
