RAPS is Seeking a Support Worker to Assist an Individual with Cerebral Palsy (A50)
Location: Northwest Edmonton
Days: Tuesday and Thursday
Hours: 9am – 4pm (14 hours per week)
Job Description: Duties include but are not limited to mobility assistance, personal care assistance, meal preparation, light housekeeping, laundry, client engagement and activity participation, support on outings including client transportation, supervision and companionship.
Note: There is 1 Dog and 1 Cat in the home
Qualifications and Other Requirements: The successful candidate must have a clear criminal record check containing the vulnerable sector, have the first Aid/ CPR certificates, 6 months experience in a similar role and a class 5 driver’s license and vehicle for client transportation. Experience with communicative technologies is considered an asset.
The ideal candidate will be interested in participating and playing video games with the client.
Rate of Pay: $20.24/ hour
