We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Support Specialist to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Provide technical support to end-users via phone, email, and in-person, addressing issues related to hardware, software, and networking.
- Troubleshoot and resolve incidents related to operating systems, applications, and network connectivity.
- Utilize tools such as ServiceNow and Jira for ticket management and tracking progress on support requests.
- Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer systems, including Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Monitor and maintain firewall configurations to ensure network security.
- Collaborate with other IT team members to identify recurring issues and implement solutions to improve overall service quality.
- Document all support activities clearly and accurately in the ticketing system for future reference.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in IT support with hands-on experience in troubleshooting Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Familiarity with computer networking concepts and firewall management.
- Experience using ServiceNow or Remedy for incident management is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of office productivity software and tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively assist users at all levels of technical expertise.
- A background in computer science or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
