What are your contributions to the team?

The Contract Management Agent in BIS (IT) Procurement at Bombardier manages major global contracts with key IT suppliers. Their main responsibility is overseeing the commercial relationship to ensure contract compliance and service delivery. They collaborate with internal teams (BIS, Finance, Legal) to resolve issues and align supplier strategies with Bombardier's goals. The role also supports cost reduction by maximizing contract value and preventing extra costs. Occasionally, the agent may guide or train new team members and contributes to the department’s overall performance.

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage overall supplier relationships and governance globally

  • Monitor supplier performance and compliance with contracts

  • Review contract terms, commercials, and service forecasts

  • Resolve collaboration issues with suppliers (structural/process)

  • Ensure strategic alignment between supplier and Bombardier/BIS/IGS

  • Lead executive review meetings with internal leadership and suppliers

  • Handle service adjustments (adds, reductions, changes) in collaboration with BIS

  • Lead contract changes, renewals, claims, or terminations with Legal and Finance

  • Conduct audits to ensure supplier compliance with security and contractual guidelines

  • Perform price and service benchmarks to identify cost-saving opportunities

  • Report audit and benchmark results to leadership

  • Track Bombardier’s own obligations (e.g., invoice payments, project commitments) and act on discrepancies

How to thrive in this role?

  • You hold a bachelor's and/or master’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Business Law, IT and/or have extensive experience in strategic sourcing and supply chain;
  • You have a minimum of five (2) years of relevant experience IT contract management/ IT procurement (an asset)
  • You have experience with managing IT outsourcing contracts
  • You have solid IT knowledge related to Application, Infrastructure, Workplace and Networking services
  • You have experience within a global sourcing environment and with Service Integration Interfaces
  • You understand legal terminology; ability to draft clauses would be considered (asset);
  • You are proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project)
  • You have strong language skills in French and in English, written and spoken.
  • You demonstrate strong communication abilities,
  • You are results oriented, analytical, innovative and a team player.
