Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a strong work ethic, excellent time management skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with team members and clients.
Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming in designated areas.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools as necessary for cleaning and maintenance tasks.
- Conduct custodial duties such as restroom sanitation, waste disposal, and replenishing supplies.
- Manage time efficiently to complete assigned tasks within scheduled shifts.
- Assist in heavy lifting of equipment or materials when required.
- Maintain equipment used for cleaning and report any issues to the supervisor.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure all cleaning standards are met.
- Participate in facilities maintenance tasks as needed to support overall operations.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with clients and coworkers.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with cleaning duties.
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in cleaning and maintenance is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Good communication skills to work collaboratively within a team setting.
