About Us:
Maple Hill School is and independent school located in Richmond, BC. We offer Grades 9-12 and focus on international students where we provide small class sizes. During the summer, we offer a condensed 5 week summer semester to students. We are looking for teachers who are wanting to teach one or two courses over a 5 week semester during this upcoming summer (Summer 2025).
Position Overview:
We currently have need for a Foundations of Math and Pre-Calculus 10 teacher to fill a recent open position for this upcoming summer semester. This will be one long block in the morning. The semester runs from June 30th, 2025 to August 1, 2025.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality instruction to small class sizes, ensuring student engagement and achievement.
- Plan and implement dynamic lessons that align with the BC curriculum framework and meet the diverse needs of students.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their learning and growth.
Qualifications:
- Candidates need to be licensed to teach in BC through the BC Teacher Regulation Branch
- Prefer candidates with at least two years of teaching experience .
- Demonstrated expertise in the BC curriculum and instructional strategies.
- Strong communication skills and ability to effectively engage students in the learning process.
