Swirl World is seeking an experienced Manager to lead our team and oversee daily operations. This leadership role requires someone with strong management skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences. We will not consider candidates that require LMIA or a Visa.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage daily store operations
- Train, schedule, and evaluate staff performance
- Manage inventory control and ordering
- Handle customer service escalations
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Oversee cash management and financial reporting
- Maintain quality standards for food preparation and service
- Develop and implement operational procedures
- Receive food orders and ensure proper storage
- Have the ability to take customer orders; process payments; stock refrigerators, freezers, and toppings stations; prepare fresh toppings and ice cream recipes
Mandatory Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Fluency in English (written and verbal)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in customer service
- Minimum 2 years of experience with cash handling and inventory management
- Minimum 2 years of experience training staff
- Previous assistant manager or higher-level management experience
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
- Ability to lift boxes up to 20kg
Preferred Requirements:
- Previous manager experience in retail or food service
- Food service industry experience
- FoodSafe certification
- Post-secondary education in business or hospitality
- Experience with point-of-sale systems
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Confident using a ladder
