Your contribution
Under the supervision and collaboration of the Director, Inventory Management and Pricing, the Store Inventory Analyst will accomplish the following essential functions:
- Complete annual or special request line reviews for all assigned stores. Manage store stocking levels by line/product line for assigned stores or all stores. Determine the required action for software filtered exceptions.
- Work with store, district and regional managers to make correct stocking decisions. Advise store team members on procedural processes.
- Use integrated inventory management software to identify and maintain assigned stores' inventories.
- Perform statistical SKU analysis based on past sales history, market area, competitive situations, vehicle registrations, etc. Approve/reject/adjust pre-mark change requests from assigned stores.
- Self-motivation required.
- Driven by customer service with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication skills, excellent analytical skills and good organizational attributes.
- Knowledge of spreadsheets, word processing, and Windows-based email management.
- Ability to handle multiple projects.
- Must convey a positive and professional image.
- College Diploma in inventory management or in any other related field or equivalent experience.
- Two or more years of automotive aftermarket sales experience. One or more years of experience in inventory management at the retail store level are an asset.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
