Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a passionate, organized, and customer-focused Store Associate to join our Scarborough team. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of retail sales experience and a genuine interest in delivering personalized service in a fast-paced, community-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers in a warm and professional manner
- Manage day-to-day sales transactions, returns, and inquiries
- Maintain store cleanliness, product displays, and organization
- Provide recommendations based on customer preferences and cultural requirements
- Handle floral products with care, including minor prep, packing, and presentation
- Assist with inventory tracking and restocking
- Coordinate with the fulfillment and shipping team for order pickups and deliveries
- Uphold brand values in every customer interaction
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of retail sales experience
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work under pressure
- Attention to detail and basic math skills for transactions
- Flexible to work weekdays, weekends, and holiday shifts
- Knowledge of South Asian customs, especially Tamil or Indian traditions, is a strong asset
Bonus Skills (Nice to Have):
- Floral handling or arranging experience
- Familiarity with POS systems
- Multilingual (especially Tamil, Hindi, or Telugu)
