We’re Stones Throw, a proud family-run business based in Blumenort, Manitoba, established in April 2012. Over the years, we’ve built a reputation for precision and reliability, delivering the technical advantages of the STONE SLINGER to customers across the region. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a dedicated Stone Slinger Operator to join our seasonal full-time team and help us leave a lasting impression—one project at a time.
What You’ll Do:
- Operate a stone slinger truck to accurately place aggregates at job sites
- Maintain and troubleshoot equipment as needed
- Safely drive and maneuver in construction zones and residential areas
- Represent Stones Throw with professionalism and a strong work ethic
- Starting wage based on qualifications and experience
What We’re Looking For:
- Must have Valid Class 1 driver’s license (or class 3 with air endorsement minimum) with a clean driving record
- Must have Mechanical knowledge and ability to make repairs a strong asset
- Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to tackle challenges on the fly
- Comfortable with early mornings and some late evenings
- Construction experience and familiarity with big rigs is a strong asset
- Dependable, self-motivated, and able to manage time efficiently
- Maintains a positive and professional attitude
