Summary
We are seeking a skilled Steel Stud Framer to join our team at Westcoast R&D Labs Inc. This role is crucial for constructing and maintaining the building and ensuring that our operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Must be able to start at 6AM SHARP (No Excuses)!
- Have their own motive of transportation to and from the site as transit will not allow you to arrive on time
- Must be comfortable installing steel stud framing while working standing on scissor lift or similar equipment
- Must have fall protection certification
- Construct and frame structures within the building as needed.
- Utilize hand and power tools to complete framing tasks accurately.
- Interpret blueprints and schematics to ensure proper construction methods.
- Perform repairs and restoration work on existing structures.
- Assist in heavy lifting and moving materials as required.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a carpenter and steel stud framer in a commercial or industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and building materials.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics effectively.
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting and manual labor tasks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
