Private farm with 4-5 sporthorses in Puslinch, Ontario (Morriston/ Freelton Area) requires a long-term reliable morning person for Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Standard shift time 6:30am - 9:30/10am. Additional hours available if extra duties wanted. Occasional weekend mornings if desired.
Daily duties include graining, blanketing, booting, turning out, cleaning stalls, scrubbing feed and water buckets, cobwebbing, general barn cleaning.
Lots of extra hours for paddock cleanup, weed whacking, and outdoor maintenance in nicer weather if desired. Horses well behaved. Quiet, flexible opportunity for the right person.
No Housing Available. Experience Required.
Above average pay but must have a high standard of care and attention to detail. Vacation pay provided. 20 mins south of the University of Guelph. Great opportunity for students.
Will be working independently after on-site training.
