Knowledgeable in NFPA codes and committed to high safety and quality standards. I am currently seeking a full-time or contract opportunities as a Sprinkler Fitter in the fire protection industry. I'm open to both steady employment and project-based work, depending on the company's needs.
Duties
- Install, maintain, and repair fire sprinkler systems (wet, dry, pre-action, and deluge).
- Cut, thread, bend, and join pipes using hand and power tools.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Inspect and test sprinkler systems to ensure compliance with NFPA and local codes.
- Trouble shoots and repair leaks, malfunctions, and system failures.
- Coordinate with general contractors and other trades on job sites.
- Perform hydrostatic testing and flushing of systems.
- Work in various environments including residentials, commercial, and industrial sites.
Experience
- Over 15 years of hands-on experience in the installation, maintenance, and inspection of fire sprinkler systems.
- Worked on variety of projects, including residential, commercial, and industrial buildings.
- Experienced in both new construction and retrofit/renovation jobs.
- Experience with hydrostatic testing, system flushing, and final inspections.
