We require a reliable person for our busy expanding sports exchange who excels in customer service and has knowledge of the product we sell. If you have an interest in helping customers pick out sporting goods that suit their needs this might be the right fit for you!
Responsibilities and Tasks
· Meet and greet customers and provide amicable service to them.
· Guide customers to the location of requested items.
· Respond to and handle customer inquiries, requests and concerns in a timely manner, over the phone and in person.
· Keep up to date on knowledge of new products on a regular basis.
· Promote in-store promotions and sales
· Participate in meetings and product knowledge sessions as required.
· Complete retail basic tasks in an efficient and timely manner (e.g., restocking, pricing, cleaning.).
· Comply with company, store and department policies.
· Maintain a professional appearance (hygiene, grooming).
· Complete other tasks as required and report to department supervisor.
Requirements and Competencies
· Interpersonal skills and customer-oriented.
· Effective written and oral communication skills.
· Basic math and typing skills.
· Possess adequate computer skills.
· Ability to work and thrive in a team environment
· Ability to adapt and cope with challenging and changing situations.
· Ability to consistently provide professional customer service, including in situations of conflicts.
· Ability to complete retail tasks according to instructions and report to supervisor or managers.
· Positive attitude, good punctuality and strong work ethic
· Ability to work under little to no supervision.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00-$20.00 per hour
