Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Deckhand to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our vessel while providing excellent customer service to our guests. As a Deckhand, you will be responsible for various tasks that contribute to the safety and efficiency of our operations on the water.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the safe navigation and operation of the vessel.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of decks and equipment.
- Handle lines during docking and undocking procedures.
- Provide exceptional customer service to passengers, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Monitor weather conditions and report any concerns to the captain.
- Assist with rigging and mechanical tasks as needed.
- Participate in safety drills and adhere to all safety protocols.
Experience
- Previous experience in a marine environment is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with guests.
- Familiarity with rigging techniques is a plus.
- Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
