Duties
- Prepare and bake a variety of baked goods, including bread, pastries, cakes, and cookies.
- Follow recipes accurately to ensure consistency in taste and presentation.
- Package finished products for display and sale while maintaining food safety standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food handling regulations.
- Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels of ingredients and supplies.
- Collaborate with team members to create new recipes and improve existing offerings.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers and addressing their inquiries about baked goods.
Experience
- Previous experience in a baking or food preparation role is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and baking tools is essential.
- Knowledge of cake decorating techniques is a plus.
- Strong understanding of food handling practices within the restaurant or food industry.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
