Your role

Our Espaces Autochtones Indigenous news site is currently seeking a Specialized Reporter based in Montreal.

In this role, you will work on multiple platforms as needed — digital, radio and television — to cover events and issues with clarity, depth and accuracy on a specific beat assigned by management.

You will produce content primarily for the Espaces Autochtones specialty site and, additionally, for our TV newscasts or current affairs programs; you may also be asked to deliver live hits on ICI RDI or produce content for our radio newscasts.

You will be required to meet news production requirements and produce impact journalism through articles, interviews, in-depth reports and analysis pieces on a wide range of Indigenous-related events and issues in line with corporate standards and policies.

We are looking to fill one permanent full-time position (hybrid schedule: 50% in-office and 50% telework).

The position is based at the Montreal station, but opportunities to work at a Radio-Canada regional station in Quebec could be discussed (after a practicum is completed in Montreal).
