Binkadi Community Services is hiring Specialized Indigenous Child and Youth Workers for this home in support of individuals in that present with a variety of challenging behaviours including dysregulation and aggression resulting from, disrupted attachment and complex trauma. Successful candidates should have the following skills:

Job duties include: connecting youths to their Indigenous culture through a variety of means, providing a safe, secure home environment, household management, meal planning and preparation, budgeting, maintaining the home and yard, working with the youths' community teams, transporting to and from appointments and activities, behavioural and emotional support, building life skills, medication administration and implementation of the youths' individual care plans.
All Binkadi team members must pass a vulnerable sector criminal record check and have a valid first aid certificate within 60 days of hiring, eligibility for benefits after six months of full time employment.
