Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled South Indian Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in preparing authentic South Indian dishes, ensuring consistent taste, presentation, and quality. You will be responsible for handling daily kitchen operations, maintaining hygiene standards, and contributing to menu development.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of South Indian dishes (e.g., dosa, idli, vada, sambar, rasam, chutneys, biryani, etc.)
- Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet our standards
- Manage kitchen prep work, cooking, plating, and timely service
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and hygiene in the kitchen
- Monitor inventory and assist with ordering supplies
- Adhere to food safety regulations and workplace safety protocols
- Work efficiently during peak hours while maintaining quality
Requirements
- Proven experience as a South Indian Cook
- In-depth knowledge of South Indian spices, cooking methods, and recipes
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Flexibility to work weekends, early mornings, evenings, or holidays as required
- Good communication and teamwork skills
