Role Summary:

We’re looking for a creative, organized, and strategy-driven Social Media & Content Specialist to help amplify our brand story, engage RV enthusiasts, and drive local and national visibility across social platforms. This role will manage all aspects of organic social media strategy, content creation, community engagement, and performance reporting. (This role requires regular on-camera appearances for social media content. Candidates should be comfortable speaking directly to the camera and participating in video content production).

Key Responsibilities:

Content Planning & Creation

  • Support in the development of Social Media Strategy and Content Strategy for the business.
  • Develop and maintain a monthly content calendar aligned with Content Strategy, national marketing campaigns, dealership promotions, seasonal events, and RV lifestyle moments.
  • Create original, on-brand content including photography, short-form video (Reels, TikTok), carousel posts, and written captions tailored to each platform.
  • Collaborate with dealerships to source local stories, customer testimonials, and in-store events for use on social platforms.
  • Collaborate with Rentals to facilitate content sharing and ensure brand consistency and build one Fraserway.
  • On-camera appearances for content development will be required.

Community Management

  • Monitor all brand social media channels daily, responding to customer inquiries, comments, and messages in a timely, brand-appropriate voice.
  • Proactively engage with RVing communities, customers, and partner accounts to build relationships and grow audience reach.

Campaign Execution & Support

  • Support national and dealership-level marketing campaigns with social media activations, giveaways, and paid social ad content coordination.
  • Assist in the development and execution of influencer partnerships and UGC (user-generated content) programs.
  • Support media agency when needed to amplify paid media with consistent organic social.

Performance Tracking & Reporting

  • Track and report on social media KPIs including follower growth, reach, engagement rates, website traffic, and campaign conversions.
  • Deliver monthly performance reports with insights, trends, and actionable recommendations to improve social media results.
  • Leverage Brand 24 to understand how we perform relative to competitors and draw insights to optimize for Fraserway.

Platform Management & Innovation

  • Stay current on platform updates, algorithm changes, and content trends to keep the brand’s social presence fresh and competitive.
  • Propose and test new content formats, platform features (e.g. Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts), and engagement tactics.

Brand Voice & Standards

Ensure all social media content is consistent with brand voice, tone, visual standards, and compliance guidelines.

  • Maintain an organized digital asset library of photography, video, and creative templates for social use.

Key Success Metrics:

  • Audience growth per platform
  • Engagement rates (likes, comments, shares, video views)
  • Website traffic and lead generation via social media
  • Campaign reach and post-performance against benchmarks
  • Positive sentiment and community growth
  • On-time delivery of content calendar and campaigns

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of social media management experience (preferably within automotive, RV, or lifestyle brands)
  • Strong content creation skills (photography, video, and copywriting – Canva, Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop)
  • Experience with video editing for social media platforms (e.g. Reels, TikTok) is preferred.
  • Proficient with social media scheduling and reporting tools (e.g. Hootsuite, Brand 24, Meta Business Suite)
  • Preferred: Basic graphic design knowledge and proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere, After Effects)
  • Hands-on experience with Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, and LinkedIn
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines across locations
  • Strong organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills
  • Knowledge of digital trends, online community building, and influencer marketing is an asset
  • This is a fun and exciting role and a passion for RVing, camping, the outdoors or lifestyle brands is a strong asset.

Compensation: Base Salary: $54,000 - $60,000 per year
