Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Small Engine Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and a passion for repairing and maintaining small engines, including lawn mowers, generators, and other outdoor power equipment. This role requires excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently while providing exceptional customer service.
Duties
- Diagnose and repair small engine equipment, ensuring all repairs meet safety and quality standards.
- Perform routine maintenance on various types of small engines, including oil changes, air filter replacements, and spark plug replacements.
- Utilize schematics to troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs.
- Conduct heavy lifting as required to move equipment and parts safely.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance overall service quality.
Experience
- Proven experience in small engine repair is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand schematics and technical manuals.
- Previous customer service experience will be beneficial for interacting with clients effectively.
- Ability to lift heavy objects safely as part of daily tasks.
