Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Site Supervisor to oversee construction projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management and demonstrate exceptional leadership skills. As a Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will work closely with subcontractors, suppliers, and team members to maintain effective communication and coordination throughout the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily operations on the construction site to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and project specifications to guide construction activities.
- Utilize construction management software such as ProCore for project tracking and documentation.
- Conduct regular quality control inspections to ensure work meets project specifications.
- Manage project budgets by monitoring expenses and resource allocation effectively.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
- Provide training and support to team members, fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Report progress and any issues to upper management, proposing solutions as necessary.
Requirements
- Proven experience in supervising construction projects, with a strong understanding of construction processes.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and schematic interpretation.
- Familiarity with construction estimating practices and budgeting techniques.
- Experience using construction management software, particularly ProCore and Bluebeam.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage conflicts effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with stakeholders.
- Knowledge of quality control measures within the construction industry is preferred.
