Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Site Supervisor to oversee daily operations at our multi-family residential construction sites, including fourplex units with legal suites. You will work under a Project Manager who will allocate tasks at multiple job sites. You will report directly to the Project Manager and play a key role in ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards.
The ideal candidate will not only have leadership and organizational skills, but also be a skilled, hands-on very experienced carpenter capable of jumping in when needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee day-to-day site operations.
- Coordinate crews, subcontractors, and resources effectively.
- Monitor timelines, safety, and quality standards across all job site activities.
- Analyze project data to identify areas for improvement and keep projects on track.
- Communicate clearly with workers, management, and external stakeholders.
- Conduct site inspections and enforce health and safety policies.
- Assist with physical tasks when required to ensure work stays on schedule.
- Prepare daily and weekly reports for upper management.
Hands-On Skill Requirements:
The Site Supervisor must be a skilled contractor with the ability to perform or oversee the following:
- Framing and layout work
- Drywall installation and repairs
- Window and door installations
- Minor plumbing and electrical coordination
- General carpentry and finishing
- Site cleanup and organization
- Material delivery and unloading
- Troubleshooting and on-the-fly problem solving
- Minor repairs and punch list work
Qualifications:
- Skilled in a wide range of construction trades and tools.
- Must have a reliable truck and own tools.
- Familiarity with project management tools and scheduling software.
- Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-starter with a proactive approach to improving site efficiency.
