What You’ll Be Doing:
- Collaborate with the Project Manager to build and manage project schedules
- Lead day-to-day site execution and oversee quality control at all phases of construction
- Ensure all work complies with building codes and safety regulations
- Maintain a clean and safe job site (debris removal, snow clearing, pressure washing, safe site access)
- Perform deficiency repairs (minor framing, drywall, paint, hardware, cabinetry, flooring, door adjustments, stairs, and handrails)
- Install millwork and finishing components with attention to detail
- Conduct Daily Hazard Assessments and complete required safety documentation
- Assist with self-perform scopes and client-driven construction tasks
- Complete quality control checks on framing, insulation, foundation, and pre-occupancy according to company standards
- Communicate professionally with trades, suppliers, and clients via phone, email, and in person
- Operate hand and power tools and assist trades as needed
- Travel within Canada is required for this role
What We’re Looking For:
- 5+ years of experience as a Site Superintendent or Site Supervisor in commercial construction
- Experience in interior improvements and ground-up builds is an asset
- Finish carpentry skills are a strong plus
- Effective schedule and time management skills
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints (preferred)
- Strong communication, organizational, and leadership capabilities
- A proactive commitment to health and safety protocols
- Current First Aid certification
- Willingness and ability to travel across Canada as needed
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
