Job Summary:
Their primary role is to plan, coordinate, and execute tile and flooring installations for a variety of clients, which could include medium to large scale construction projects.
Project Managers are responsible for assessing the project requirements, scheduling, and proper completion of the work.
They supervise the installation team, ensuring the work is performed efficiently, safely and to a high standard.
If issues arise, such as delays the Project Manager is responsible for resolving them and keeping the project on track.
They also perform quality control checks, inspecting the finished work to ensure it meets the client’s expectations and adheres to industry standards.
The roll will be split between on site and office work.
Requirements & Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all aspects of tile / flooring projects from start to finish.
- Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time.
- Manage and maintain project documentation and reports.
- Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards.
- Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan.
- Perform quality control on the project throughout development to maintain the standards expected.
- Properly allocate and be in charge of multiple subcontractors.
Requirements & Responsibilities:
- Proven work experience as a Project Manager. Experience in the flooring industry is not required but is an asset.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, means and methods.
- Experience with project management software tools.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent communication.
- Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00-$95,000.00 per year
