What You'll Do:
Sign Making:
- Operate specialized equipment to create various types of traffic signs (e.g., cutting, laminating, applying reflective sheeting).
- Ensure all signs meet precise specifications and quality standards.
- Maintain sign-making equipment and troubleshoot minor issues as needed.
- Manage and organize sign-making materials and inventory.
Warehouse Labourer:
- Receive, unload, and store incoming materials and products.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment accurately and efficiently.
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Perform regular inventory counts and maintain organized warehouse spaces.
- Assist with general warehouse duties, including cleaning and maintenance.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience: Previous experience in a manufacturing, sign-making, or warehouse environment is an asset, but we're willing to train the right candidate.
- Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to follow instructions precisely and work independently.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Basic computer skills are an asset.
- Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 75 lbs) regularly.
- Comfortable with standing, bending, and lifting for extended periods.
- Work Ethic:
- Reliable and punctual.
- Positive attitude and a team player.
- A strong commitment to workplace safety.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
