Hall Excavation & Shoring is currently seeking a skilled Shotcrete Shoring Nozzleman to join our team. The successful candidate will work with a dynamic team of construction professionals to deliver high-quality shotcrete application expertise on various challenging projects.


Qualifications
:


  • ACI Nozzleman certification is an asset or a combination of active Nozzleman experience and related training.
  • Experience operating a shotcrete pump.
  • First aid, confined space, and fall protection training is an asset.
  • Physical fitness to spend most or all of shift standing, walking, lifting, carrying, and working hands-on in outdoor environments in all types of weather.
  • Flexible with hours worked, including overtime and weekend work as needed.

Technical Skills:


  • Able to demonstrate knowledge of proper shotcrete equipment set-up.
  • Understand the impact weather can have on shotcrete operations to maintain quality results.
  • Ability to identify all hazards associated with excavation/shoring projects and communicate safety issues.
  • Ensure safety policies and procedures are followed and participate in safety meetings.
  • Collaborate with the Foreman and shoring crew to apply shotcrete and understand shoring drawings.
  • Ensure all areas receiving shotcrete are clean, sound, and free of loose material.
  • Install reinforcement materials as per specifications and adhere to anchor head details.
  • Maintain quality results of work, including shotcrete walls meeting minimum +/- tolerances.
  • Conduct inspections on hoses and equipment prior to use, ensuring safety and correct operation.
  • Maintain equipment and report any maintenance issues promptly.
  • Work with the team to ensure maximum productivity and support other crew members on site.
  • Perform daily site activities outside of job scope.
