NVIT anticipates the need for one full-time term Short-Order Cook/Prep Assistant to assist the Cafeteria Coordinator at the Merritt campus and invites applications from qualified individuals. This term position will commence August 2025, and end April 2026.
Job Summary:
As directed by the Culinary Instructor and Cafeteria Coordinator the duties and responsibilities are, but not limited to, the cooking and preparation of the cafeteria/catering menu, cafeteria sales, float/cash out duties, dishwashing, and general cleaning of the cafeteria kitchen and seating areas. The successful candidate will work to maintain a positive environment, be punctual and prepared to work with customers in a professional manner.
