Alpine Aerotech is currently seeking a highly motivated Shipping & Receiving Associate to join our rapidly expanding team in West Kelowna.
A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A SHIPPING & RECEIVING ASSOCIATE

Receive, inspect and organize incoming shipments;
-
Assist in loading and unloading shipments safely and efficiently;
-
Perform heavy lifting tasks (up to 50 lbs) as needed;
-
Maintain a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet areas and workstations organized;
-
Assist in counting and organizing inventory, as required;
-
Provide coverage within the department for holiday relief and absences, as required;
-
Fulfill additional duties as required; and
- Uphold an unwavering standard of excellence that impeccably represents the Alpine Aerotech brand.
OUR MUST HAVES

High School Diploma or equivalent;
-
Valid driver's license;
-
Ability to frequently lift, push, and slide packages that typically weigh up to 50 lbs;

Ability to work full-time, 40 hours per week, with an opportunity for overtime, as needed;

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail and the ability to generate high quality deliverables.

Strong time and project management skills and self-motivation.

Robust interpersonal skills, high emotional intelligence, and professional maturity with demonstrated ability to effectively interact and build professional relationships.

Awareness of the sensitivity of information received and appropriate handling; and
- Know what it means to work smarter, not harder.
