Overview:
Receive and ship customer orders and company stock orders with critical attention to detail and time management.
Primary Responsibilities:
Shipping
1. Process and package customer orders for shipping
2. Coordinate transportation of customer orders (parcel service and LTL) using online and manual waybills for multiple transport companies
3. Go to quote for preferred carrier on prepaid freight customer orders
4. Organize and provide complete documentation for day-end invoicing
Receiving
5. Receive product from suppliers for both customer orders and company stock orders
6. Confirm quantity, product specification and technical document requirements are all in compliance with company purchase orders
7. Quarantine damaged product and report issues to management
8. Inspect and receive customer returns with company issued RGA’s
9. Organize and provide complete documentation for day-end accounts payable
Inventory
10. Complete routine cycle counts and semi-annual inventory
Warehouse & Building Maintenance
11. Maintenance and operation of forklift
12. General maintenance of building, grounds and cleanliness of warehouse
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
1. 5-years direct experience
2. Forklift certificate required
3. Commitment to personal safety and safe work practices. Heavy lifting required.
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel and inventory management software [Sage 300 an asset]
5. The successful candidate will be professional and thrive in a fast paced, ever changing and detail oriented environment
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 42.5 per week
