Canadian Blind Manufacturing Inc. (www.cdnblind.com), based in Richmond, has available the position of Shipper/Receiver for its blind manufacturing facility. This is a full-time position (40 hours a week).
Education/Skills/Experience:
Training will be provided but the successful candidate should possess the following for the job:
- 2 - 3 years of experience in warehouse shipping, receiving & logistics
- Basic computer skills including email & word processing
- Proficient in Oral English
- Basic math skills – must understand fractions and decimals
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Must be punctual and reliable
- Able to work alone and as a team member
- Be able to multi-task
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Forklift experience and license
- Must have Canadian Citizenship, PR or valid work visa
- Bondable
Job Details / Responsibilities:
- Assist walk-in customers with pick up orders
- Packing customer orders
- General clean-up of the warehouse and work areas
- Receive & unpack incoming deliveries
