Position Overview:
As an HVAC Install Technician, you will be responsible for the installation various of heating, cooling, and ventilation systems in residential and commercial properties. You will work closely with a team of experienced technicians to ensure that each installation is completed according to industry standards and safety guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, ventilation systems and ductwork.
- Perform assessments of job sites and prepare equipment and tools needed for installation.
- Ensure that all installations comply with local codes and safety regulations.
- Perform system testing, calibration and commissioning to ensure proper operation.
- Provide excellent customer service
- Maintain accurate records of materials used, job progress, and completed installations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues during or after the installation process.
- Keep work area clean and organized, maintaining safety at all times.
- Assist in the maintenance of company vehicles and equipment.
Qualifications:
- Journeyperson Sheet Metal Worker.
- Secondary ticket in Gasfitting would be an asset.
- Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in varying environmental conditions.
- Ability to work at heights, including roofs and aerial work platforms.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
