Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional guest services and ensuring that every dining experience is memorable. As a Server, you will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and welcoming atmosphere for our guests.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly manner, ensuring a positive dining experience.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system.
- Serve food and drinks promptly while adhering to proper food preparation and sanitation guidelines.
- Upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales.
- Manage multiple tables efficiently while maintaining attention to detail and excellent time management skills.
- Address guest inquiries or concerns with professionalism and courtesy.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and maintain communication regarding any special requests or dietary restrictions.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including sanitizing tables, chairs, and service areas regularly.
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with POS systems is advantageous for efficient order processing.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing time effectively.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations is a plus.
