Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Service Writer to join our team. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers seeking motorcycle repair services. You will utilize your mechanical knowledge and customer service skills to effectively communicate with clients, assess their needs, and facilitate the repair process. Your ability to upsell services while ensuring customer satisfaction will be key to your success in this position.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers and assess their Harley-Davidson® service needs.
- Provide accurate estimates for repairs and services based on customer input and mechanical knowledge.
- Effectively communicate with technicians to relay customer concerns and ensure proper service execution.
- Upsell additional services or products that may benefit the customer’s vehicle.
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, service orders, and cash handling transactions.
- Follow up with customers regarding their service experience and address any concerns promptly.
- Collaborate with the sales team to promote dealership offerings and enhance customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to Harley-Davidson® repair is preferred.
- Previous experience in a dealership or automotive service environment is a plus.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on building relationships.
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Experience in upselling products or services is advantageous.
- A background in sales or familiarity with automotive parts is beneficial.

Expected hours: 38 – 42 per week
