- Independently and collaboratively assist individuals with mobility challenges.
- Efficiently install stairlifts, wheelchair lifts, home elevators, and other mobility and accessibility products.
- Provide on-site training to clients on product use and maintenance.
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries and provide knowledgeable support.
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to accessibility and mobility equipment.
- Thoroughly complete all installation and service-related documentation.
- Collect customer payments after installations or services.
- Local travel within Oakville or Etobicoke and surrounding areas during business hours.
Mindset, Skills & Education
- Empathetic and diligent individual who understands the unique needs of clients, particularly seniors and individuals with disabilities.
- 2+ years of experience in repair or installation roles.
- 2+ years of mechanical/electrical experience.
- 2+ years of direct client-facing experience, preferably in a home setting.
- Organized with meticulous attention to detail.
- Mechanical and electrical aptitude; willingness to learn and adapt.
- Responsible and adept at managing time effectively.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with both colleagues and clients.
- Ability to interpret and work with electrical schematics.
- Capability to lift 50-75 lbs.
- EDM-T license considered a significant asset.
