Job Summary
As a member of our Service team, you play a key role in welcoming guests and ensuring their dining experience is smooth, enjoyable, and memorable. From seating guests to taking orders and processing payments, you’ll contribute to daily operations across all of our food outlets throughout the resort. At Sasquatch Mountain Resort, we create an inclusive experience, united by adventure and empowered by community. Job Specifications
Wage: Based on experience- Schedule: Full-time, including weekends and holidays
- Skill Level: Entry Level
- Reports To: Inside Operations Supervisor
Job Responsibilities
Greet and seat guests warmly and efficiently- Take food and beverage orders and relay them accurately to kitchen and bar
- Serve meals and drinks with attention to timing and presentation
- Provide menu knowledge and make recommendations
- Handle payments, perform daily cash outs, and maintain accurate records
- Maintain clean and organized service stations and dining areas
- Monitor guest satisfaction and resolve any concerns with professionalism
- Follow responsible alcohol service guidelines
- Adhere to all FoodSafe, Serving It Right, and SMR service protocols
- Support team members across departments during peak periods
- Participate in snow removal duties as needed
- Maintain a polished and professional appearance
- Perform other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
Minimum 1 year experience in food & beverage service preferred- Serving It Right certification required
- Food Safe certification required
- WHMIS training and cash handling experience are assets
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and be on your feet for long periods
- Comfortable working in high-volume, fast-paced environments
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to multitask, solve problems, and work calmly under pressure
- Adaptable team player willing to support other departments when needed
- Available weekends and holidays as required
- Committed to delivering an excellent guest experience
- Comfortable working with families and guests of all ages
- Cross-department support and snow removal required from all positions at SMR
