| What we are looking for
Payments Canada manages and operates critical payment systems for the Canadian economy, governed by the Bank of Canada. This position will play a key role in the ITSM process team, responsible for helping to design, deployment, and performance of a defined set of Service Management processes (Incident, Problem, Change, Asset, Release, and Configuration) that are implemented to support the portfolio of Service Management on both our corporate and payment services deployed across Payments Canada. The Service Management Process Specialist will also assist the Senior Service Management Process Specialist with developing, implementing, and releasing any new ITIL processes.
| A day in the life
Your responsibilities as the Service Management Process Analyst will include but are not limited:
Service Management – Process Management
- Responsible for updating current ITIL processes and helping to create new ones for upcoming planned processes.
- Reviewing processes on an annual basis.
- Help the practices team on reviewing procedures and confirm they align with the processes
- Participate in client relationships and provide support to Payments Canada clients for ITSM processes.
- Maintain relationships with external clients, service providers, and vendors to identify new process solutions to improve ongoing support of Payments Canada's ITSM processes.
- Post-secondary education in related disciplines.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a service management function, including ITIL processes.
- ITIL4 certification, or prepared to obtain certification in the first 6 months
- Ability to participate in the on-call rotation and work periodic overtime.
- Eligibility to successfully complete background checks that will be carried out by Payments Canada, including criminal, credit, identity, employment, and education checks.
- Experience in executing Project Management best practices is considered an asset.
- Knowledge of ServiceNow and other ITSM tools is considered an asset.
- Experience with Business Process Management (BPMN 2.0) is considered an asset.
- Bilingualism (English and French) is considered an asset.
- Based on qualifications and experience: $78,031 to $97,539.
