Job Overview
We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Service and Parts Advisor to join our team. You’ll be responsible for ensuring a smooth customer experience from scheduling service appointments to sourcing parts and communicating job status updates. This role requires a blend of technical knowledge, strong organizational skills, and outstanding customer service.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers, assess their service needs, and schedule repair or maintenance work
- Provide accurate estimates for parts and labor
- Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely completion of work
- Source and order necessary parts using internal systems and supplier catalogs
- Communicate clearly with customers regarding service progress, delays, or additional work needed
- Maintain inventory levels and assist in parts returns and warranty claims
- Ensure all documentation is complete and accurate for billing and warranty purposes
- Uphold excellent customer service and build strong, lasting relationships with clients
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Service Advisor, Parts Advisor, or similar role in an automotive or equipment service environment an asset
- Strong knowledge of vehicle or equipment parts and mechanical systems an asset
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in using service management systems and parts databases an asset
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification is a plus
