Overview
Té offers authentic Korean inspired comfort foods and tea-based artisanal cocktails. We are looking for skilled front of house staff with out-going and positive personalities. Candidates need to be customer-focused with the ability to multi-task all functions. Our servers take care of their own tables, both bartending and serving. The trade off is that you take home 100% of your tips, all paid out in cash at the end of each shift. There is no tip-out to other sections. Located on the popular Ossington Strip, the atmosphere is vibrant and friendly. We have a very busy backyard patio in the summer. We are open Wednesday through Sunday nights so availability must fit our operating hours with Friday, Saturday & Sunday shifts being required.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and offering recommendations.
- Handle transactions accurately using POS systems.
- Manage time effectively to maintain efficient service during peak hours.
Experience
- Previous experience serving and making drinks in a fast -paced environment are a must (drink mixing experience can include bartending, extensive barista work, bubble tea shops, etc.)
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with guests.
- Time management skills to efficiently serve customers in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of food handling and hospitality best practices is a plus.
- Familiarity with POS systems is advantageous but can be taught on the job.
