Front of House Server – Texas Barbecue of Canada
At Texas Barbecue of Canada, we serve authentic slow-smoked barbecue with Texas hospitality. We’re looking for Front of House Servers who thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and love providing outstanding guest experiences. Currently, our restaurant is take-out and drive through.
Location: Texas Barbecue of Canada, 7931 Highway 17, Desbarats, Ontario P0R1E0
Compensation: Competitive hourly pay including tips
Hours: AM and PM shifts (Weekdays and Weekends)
Job Responsibilities:
Guest Service & Hospitality
- Greet guests warmly and create a welcoming atmosphere.
- Take accurate food and drink orders and answer menu questions.
- Ensure timely service while handling take out and drive through.
- Deliver food and drinks with attention to presentation and accuracy.
Teamwork & Restaurant Flow
- Work with kitchen staff to keep orders running smoothly.
- Help keep the restaurant clean, organized, and stocked.
- Assist with restaurant set up when needed.
Sales
- Process payments efficiently and handle cash/card transactions accurately.
- Recommend menu items, drinks, and desserts.
Guest Satisfaction & Problem-Solving
- Address guest concerns with a positive, solution-focused attitude.
- Ensure every customer leaves happy and eager to return.
Cleaning & Maintenance
- Keep service areas clean and sanitized, including equipment, stations, and floors.
- Follow daily and weekly cleaning schedules for all areas.
- Properly dispose of waste as needed.
