Definition:
The Server/Beverage Cart employee will become part of a team which directly provides food and beverage service to the members and guests of the Kamloops Golf and Country Club (KGCC). The food and beverage service are provided on course via the beverage cart, in the clubhouse and/or on the clubhouse patio.
Reports to:
The Server/Beverage Cart employee reports to and is under the direction of the FOH Lead or his/her designated supervisor.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Handling cash, member and guests’ charges and processing payments
2. Selling snacks and beverages on golf course via the beverage cart
3. Serving food and beverages in the clubhouse and on the patio as required
4. Provide members and guests with checks and process payments in a timely manner
5. Greets members and guests in a friendly manner and asks about their food and beverage needs
6. Maintains a positive and professional approach with coworkers, members, and guests
Required Qualifications, Training, and Experience:
1. BC Serving It Right Certificate.
2. Be able to work by yourself and in a positive team setting
3. Cash, Monetary systems, and iPad related skills
4. Honest and trustworthy
5. Clean and organized
6. Valid BC driver’s license or equivalent.
7. A BC high school diploma or equivalent.
8. Possess excellent interpersonal, customer service and communication skills.
9. Ability to follow oral and written directions (English).
10. Performs other related duties.
Job Types: Part-time, Temporary, Casual
Pay: From $17.85 per hour
