Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing outstanding customer service, ensuring that each guest feels welcomed and valued. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and organized dining environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Take accurate food and drink orders using the POS system, specifically Micros POS.
• Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials and upselling items to enhance guest experience.
• Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables while maintaining proper food safety and sanitation standards.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient service and address any guest concerns promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
• Assist with food preparation as needed while adhering to food handling guidelines.
• Manage time effectively to ensure all guests receive prompt service during busy periods.

Skills

• Previous experience in the food service or restaurant industry is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards.
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately with basic math skills for cash handling.
• Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts.
• Experience with POS systems, particularly Micros POS is advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with guests and team members.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.20-$18.56 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
