Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. As a Server, you will be responsible for delivering an outstanding dining experience to our guests by efficiently taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using POS systems such as Touch Bistro.
- Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring presentation meets our ining standards.
- Provide recommendations on menu items, including upselling specials to enhance guest experience.
- Monitor guest needs throughout their dining experience, ensuring satisfaction with food quality and service.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math for bill processing.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dining area, adhering to food safety standards.
- Assist with bussing tables and resetting them for new guests as needed.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
- Address any guest concerns or complaints promptly to ensure a positive dining experience.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations.
- Experience in fine dining or upscale restaurant settings preferred.
- Knowledge of food handling and safety regulations is essential.
- Familiarity with restaurant management software such as Touch Bistro a plus.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Culinary experience or kitchen background is beneficial but not required.
- Previous experience as a host/host or in guest services is advantageous.
