Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing excellent customer service and a strong understanding of food and beverage operations. As a Server, you will be responsible for ensuring that guests have an enjoyable dining experience by delivering high-quality service and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.
Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and efficient manner.
- Present menus, take orders, and provide recommendations based on guest preferences.
- Accurately enter orders into the Point of Sale (POS) system and ensure timely delivery of food and beverages.
- Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate cash handling procedures.
- Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring adherence to safety and hygiene standards.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and address any guest concerns promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and condiments.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving issues as they arise.
Requirements
- Previous experience in the food service or restaurant industry is preferred but not required.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Familiarity with POS systems for efficient order processing.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques is a plus.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
