You will be responsible for providing outstanding customer service, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that all guests have a memorable visit. The ideal candidate will possess strong hospitality skills and a passion for the food industry.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system.
- Provide detailed information about menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods.
- Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables while maintaining high standards of presentation.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience and address any concerns promptly.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests.
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines to ensure a safe dining environment.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient service and timely order fulfillment.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is essential.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team-oriented setting.
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus but can be learned on the job.
- A passion for the food industry and commitment to providing exceptional service is highly valued.
